How long have you been tattooing for professionally?
I’ve been tattooing professionally for almost 3 years.
Where did you grow up and how long have you been tattooing in QLD?
I grew up in the north island of NZ in a little town called Waipukurau. I moved to Queensland when I was 16 and been here ever since. I’ve been tattooing in QLD for almost 3 years.
Did you do an apprenticeship or are you self taught?
I started at a tattoo academy but the majority of the skills and techniques I have learnt were self taught.
What is your favourite tattoo you’ve done or what style do you prefer doing?
My favourite tattoo that I have done so far would be my Mac Miller portrait tattoo. My preferred style is black and grey realism.
Do you practice any other art mediums other than tattooing?
Other than tattooing I also like to do charcoal drawings
What do you get up to when you’re not tattooing?
When I’m not tattooing I like spending time with my family, watching movies, going to the beach...
What's the best advice you'd give someone looking to start collecting some quality art pieces?
Make sure you’re 100% sure on what you want. The last thing you want is to regret the tattoo in the future.
